An original work by UHM graduate Michelle Huynh, directed by Chaminade faculty member, Chris Patrinos, this was a new work presented as a staged reading in graphic novel style.

A woman living in the countryside of Saigon adopts a young "lai" girl.  Living in war-stricken Vietnam during 1974, the girl must learn to adapt to her surroundings especially when she is seen as the outcast of the village.  The story follows her as she tries to overcome her battles with society, culture and family ties while trying to survive the war and political conflict consuming her village.
